A recap from our “Celebrate Us” event in March, presented by our Cultural Ambassadors!🌍

The Global Ties Cultural Ambassadors are a group of multilingual students from different cultures who are dedicating their time to showcase the food, activities, and language from their culture to the Pitt community ✨

The cooled down temperatures in Pittsburgh today reminded us that we haven’t posted about our spring break cultural immersion trip in March!!🥶❄️
This year, Global Ties and OIS took a group of undergraduate international students to Anchorage, Alaska! We learned a lot about the Alaskan history and culture (and about each other) through our visits to the Matanuska Glacier, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Wildlife Conservation Center, World’s Largest Chocolate Waterfall, Mount Alyeska, Anchorage Museum, and very importantly, the northern lights!!! We miss everyone on the trip and hope to see you again at our events and trips next year💙💛
