The Childcare Reinvestment Business (CRIB) Fund, a forgivable loan program designed to help new and existing childcare businesses thrive right here in the City of Pittsburgh.

The CRIB Fund offers:
🔹 $5,000–$20,000 forgivable loans
🔹 An additional $5,000 for completing sponsored training through Chatham University
🔹 Funding for working capital, payroll, scholarships, equipment, software, supplies, improvements & more
🔹 Access to free business education courses

In Observance of Memorial Day Sprout & Sparkle Academy

In May of 1865, shortly after the Civil War, a group of formerly enslaved African Americans in Charleston organized the earliest known memorial celebration to honor Union soldiers who died in the Civil War.

This observance was a remarkable act of remembrance and assertion of freedom by the African American community. It highlights the central role African Americans played in the origins of Memorial Day, a history that was largely overlooked for many years.​
