Wow! Couldn't have asked for a better way to say goodbye to Genesis Early Learning Academy Pittsburgh, PA and to my teaching career than to celebrate with the people that mean the most to me! Having my team of Celeste Makiel Gaber,Melissa Donovan,Jenna Paulat,Deanna Durbin Tomera,Amber Powell,Erin Pascuzzi, Mallory Watts(see you tonight Mal!) and of course my family Edd Yovetich,Tuck Yovetich,Logan Yovetich,Ally Yovetich,Jessica Reck Briggs,and Kelly Reck. Thanks to Janelle Reck for the amazing book idea! I'm truly touched and forever Blessed❤.

Water Day was the perfect way to end a butterfly-filled week.

Today was a great day for a Baseball Letter Review!

Some of our future Lopes had a great day exploring kindergarten at the Avonworth Primary Center yesterday!

/Ii/ is for Incline pushups, Ice Cream and Igloos!

What an "E"xciting way to start our short and long vowel e week with none other than a Solar "E"clipse!!!!!! Followed by making a spring flower pot out of recycled egg cartons and a ton of spring fun and an awesome visit from our friends at Happy ReUse! We finished out the week with some Genesis Alumni helping to teach us that "When two vowels go walking, the first one does all the talking".😍

Introduction to vowels and Letter A week! Ab exercises, Astronauts and learning how silent e tells his friend to “Wake up and say his name.”
(Plus some cool bonus bird feeders during Lunch Bunch!)

So much fun honoring our Queens for a day (Thanks, Janelle!). We also welcomed Spring this week, and had fun learning the letter Q with Quilts and edible Q-tips. And we learned about Easter and prepared for Jesus’s rising.
