Administrative Assistant Needed

As Administrative Assistant to the President, you will be primarily responsible for maximizing the President’s time and promoting a positive company image. Through your duties as a liaison, you will maintain relationships between the President, his employees, and contractors. Additionally, you will keep company departments informed of important changes and internal company details as needed.

Administrative Assistant to the President Job Responsibilities

· Professionally represent the company President when greeting guests, organizing company events, reviewing correspondence, and responding to inquiries made to the President.

· Offer key guidance regarding historical precedent to executives.

· Complete special projects as assigned by the President. It may include creative problem-solving, progress oversight, working with multiple company staff, and extensive company research.

· Actively seek to improve professional skill sets and capabilities through active engagement in industry status, educational opportunities, and membership in relevant professional organizations.

· Maintain effective daily operations and make suggestions for process improvements when necessary. Provide support in various tasks to help organize and manage the office. These duties can include:

Communication: Answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls

Scheduling: Scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences, and updating calendars

Record keeping: Maintaining databases, filing systems, and meeting minutes

Writing: Preparing memos, invoices, reports, and documents, and drafting and proofing/editing communications

Other tasks: Handling mail and faxes, conducting surveys, and fiscal reviews.

GOLF OUTING

The 8th Annual A For The People Institute Golf Outing will be held again at the beautiful South Park Golf
Course, one of Pittsburgh‘s greatest secrets for golfers. The golf course has been redesigned and
maintained by the Reno groundskeeper from the Oakmont Golf Course. This outing will have 48
invitational spots for golfers from the Tri-State area. We hope that you will be able to join us. For only
$100, you will enjoy lunch and a steak dinner. We look forward to you being with us for a day of fun,
comradery, and relaxation.
The Outing is designed to raise scholarship funds for those interested in an insurance career. We offer
scholarships and financial assistance to individuals training to become licensed agents, CSRs, and
underwriters. We inspire opportunities for the disadvantaged and people with disabilities as a road to
make their lives better. Since 2009, we have devoted ourselves to this training. With your support or
participation, whichever works best for you, we need your assistance to continue offering this opportunity.
Early classes will be held this Spring. The dates will be announced shortly. We hope you have potential
students you want to attend.

Scholarship Golf Outing We are looking for 40 players for the South Park Golf Course June 12th. 10am off the first Tee, play your ball! All Birdies Win! 3 flights so everyone has a chance to WIN! Goodie bags for all! Skill prizes along the course Come out and help us raise funds for scholarships! Awards will be passed out at the Party Grove in the park after the round. This course is supervised by the former head groundskeeper of the prestigious Oakmont Country Club! Why are we doing this? So that everyone can have a chance at a career in the Insurance industry. This is a great opportunity! Scholarship will be given for our three day licensing training course, for those interested in this opportunity. We are asking for $100 dollar donation, but give what you can. The Institute’s Annual Drive for Student Scholarship Fundraiser is now! To increase opportunities for employment in the Insurance industry, we make available to interested individuals scholarships and information about career opportunities. We ask for your support in this endeavor.

As you know, I have a passion to help those who are interested in making a career in the insurance industry. Scholarships will help in this area; hence the golf outing. I do believe that we have a great
opportunity to help people in our community that are looking for a career in the insurance industry. I have always believed a career in insurance is profitable for many.
