Excited to announce that on Friday, November 19th at 1:30 pm we will be having the group's Kick-off event. At this meeting, we will introduce ourselves, talk a little bit about the purpose of the group, why it was created, some resources that exist at CCAC for students with children, and hopefully get a little more feedback on the things you guys are all hoping to get out of this group.

Our very own Alpha Mu Theta President, Kerry Katz, and Officer, Mindy McCloskey, raised $100 in the first virtual PTK Scholar 5K Dash ( https://classy.org/team/311422) for Golden Opportunity Scholarships. Golden Opportunity Scholarships provide a Phi Theta Kappa’s fee waiver to help eligible students pay for memberships. If you would like to receive a Golden Opportunity Scholarship, reach out to your PTK chapter today. Deadline to apply is October 9th!

Despite the quarantine, PTK Alpha Mu Theta has been hard-at-work on preparation for the next academic year. Stay tuned for more details!

We are proud announce that Alpha Mu Theta won the MSR Distinguished Advisor Award as well as the MSR Paragon Advisor Award for Don Breitbarth!

Due to the migration of CCAC in-person classes to online classes, PTK General Meetings have been cancelled until at least April 23rd. CCAC is currently scheduled to reopen on April 20th. As part of that, all PTK events before then have been cancelled as well. We will keep you updated as more information comes out!

Due to concerns over the coronavirus, the PTK Officers have decided to cancel today's meeting.

PTK Alpha Mu Theta will be partnering with CCAC faculty and the League of Women Voters to host a Voter Registration Drive across campus on April 1st! If you have not registered yet, this is your chance!

On March 3rd, Officer of Fellowship Kaitlyn Sharkey led a PTK Orientation. It was yet another success for Alpha Mu Theta! More orientations this semester are being considered!

From today until Thursday February 13th, PTK is partnering with fair trade and sustainable retailer Ten Thousand Villages for a mini-shop in the Milton Rotunda! Buy a gift for Galentine's Day, Valentine's Day, or any occasion!

The PTK General Meeting will still be on Thursday from 3 to 4 but it has been moved! The new meeting location is in the Foerster Meeting Room on the first floor of the SSC. Hope to see you there!

PTK Officers Theodore, Nicole and Kaitlyn alongside one of our wonderful advisors Laura are hard at work on our HIA project. We can't wait for everyone to see the fruits of our hard work! Stay tuned...

PTK Alpha Mu Theta partnered with PTK Alpha Upsilon Upsilon from Westmoreland County Community College to collect socks for Veteran's Place. On Saturday, December 7, members from both chapters met at Veteran's Place to present the donations. Alpha Mu Theta collected over 400 socks.

C4 Week continued today as we passed out chips in the Milton Rotunda to those who commit to completion. It has been yet another successful C4 Week so far!

Alpha Mu Theta Officer of Leadership Craig Wolfley gave a very informative presentation on being a leader in all aspects of your life. Several PTK officers and members attended. Attendees won't forget Officer Wolfley's great advice anytime soon!

Don't miss the PTK Leadership Seminar on Tuesday, October 8 at 11am in the Wildcat Den! Officer of Leadership Craig Wolfley will give tips on how to be a strong leader.

Alpha Mu Theta hosted "5 Minutes in Heaven with PTK" in the Allegheny Campus cafeteria. It was a success. The wafting smell of the free popcorn attracted several students. Interesting conversations and new connections were made. We plan to try it again soon!
