The Center for Iranian Music (CFIM) is to preserve and promote Iranian music.

Dr. Bijan Elyaderani and Reza Vali, Ph.D., Carnegie Mellon University Professor of composition, founded the Center for Iranian Music (CFIM) in the fall of 2012. Cultures of the world are interconnected and flow to each other like the waters of the oceans, and no culture can claim to be a “super culture”. Therefore, one important aim of the CFIM is the creation of dialogue between the Iranian music
