This Thursday at 7 p.m. (tomorrow!) we are very lucky to have regional academic experts on Islam and North Africa come to campus to participate in a panel event entitled "Islam, Immigration, and Politics." This will be a dynamic event featuring highly regarded scholars from the Greater Pittsburgh area and is not to be missed by those with an interest in the Middle East, North Africa, and/or issues of Immigration and Politics in the 21st century. Refreshments will be served so please do stop by!

Chatham friends! Please set aside some time in your schedule to join us for a screening of the film Crossing Borders on Wednesday the 30th from 5 to 7 p.m. The film depicts student travelers making cultural connections in Morocco and is directed by Arnd Wachter. After the screening, we will be hold a Skype call with one of the film's subjects, David Collura, to ask him about his experiences during and after the making of this documentary.
