The Embodied Brain with Mark Taylor
Sundays, October 11 and 18, 12 – 3 pm EST (New York)
The human brain is fascinating to philosophers, neuroscientists, sychologists, educators, meditators, and the general public: as one of the most complicated structures in the human body, it remains mysterious even as many of its secrets are unraveled. In the Embodied Brain workshops we will slow down and take time to enjoy the head-brain from an experiential perspective, exploring our personal reactions—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—to journeying within the central nervous system. You are welcome to join for one session or for both.
October 11: Embodying the Architecture of the Brain: differentiating the sensations of low brain, midbrain, and forebrain
October 18: Embodying Fluids, Ventricles, and Cranial Nerves
