It was another bittersweet day as The Queen of Hearts 👑❤️provided her last story time assembly of the school year at Park Elementary Schooland Barrett Elementary School in the Steel Valley School District !

I’ve been visiting the kindergarten students in this district for 24 years !!!
It’s been an amazing experience greeting new kindergartners each fall and watching them bloom and grow throughout the school year ! 👍

I love the teachers in this district! They are so supportive and welcoming. They’ve heard my stories for a long time and still greet the Queen of ❤️with enthusiasm each and every time !! ❤️ Thankyou !!

Today”s Queen of Hearts : BIG IDEA FOR LITTLE PEOPLE storytime theme was CONFIDENCE!!
My sweet little friends are on their way to first grade and I want them to BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES and to always say “Yes I Can !!

I challenged them to learn to draw Clifford the Big Red Dog , my companion for each visit . I provided a directed art lesson and they DID IT !! With huge smiles and lots of Confidence!! Everyone got a new book to take home and read this summer too !! Hooray !!

It’s a bittersweet day! It’s my last visit for the school year at Clara Barton Elementary in West Mifflin . I love this sweet elementary school and their wonderful teachers and staff .

I have so enjoyed providing my BIG IDEAS FOR LITTLE PEOPLE program for the kindergarteners this year !
They have grown and matured so much since I met them in October .

Our last Big Idea : EMPATHY . It’s an important lesson to being a good FRIEND that never goes away… no matter how old we are !!

It’s was great to be back doing the work I love ❤️👑 at Park and Barrett Elementary Schools in the Steel Valley School District!! The Queen of Hearts “BIG IDEAS FOR LITTLE PEOPLE “ Storytelling Assembly Program provides engaging assemblies that feature character and value education!

Yesterday’s assembly was all about RESPONSIBILITY and the consequences that occur when we don’t fulfill our responsibilities!! It’s a good lesson for all ages!

As always , the Queen was feeling the LOVE from all the kids . It’s good work!
