Today Tré Tipton, a senior wide receiver for the Pitt Panthers came to speak to the 4-8 grade students at Mother of Mercy Academy. The recent Disney Spirit Award winner had an impactful message from his own experiences for our students. After, he walked around and met some of our younger students and even signed some autographs!

At Mother of Mercy Academy, students learn at a young age the many acts of service one can do to help others. Recently, as a part of our Veteran’s Day celebration, we collected funds and students made cards for local Vets.

Mother of Mercy Academy is a newly emergent school servicing students in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. With deep roots of academic and athletic excellence, we are excited to take the history of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin and St. Elizabeth and apply it towards the future as we write our own new story while building on the faith foundations laid before us.
Providing both before and after school care, Mother of Mercy Academy has a place for all students in K-8, including both part time and full time Preschool options.
