The H.O.P.E. Alliance of the Metro-Urban Institute at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will host a post-election safe space Nov. 8 at 4:00 p.m. on the Pittsburgh Seminary's campus for ministry leaders to process, reflect, and organize. As a part of their work with the H.O.P.E. Alliance, MUI is seeking to address spaces where trauma and violence take place in communities, and regardless of the results of the upcoming elections, congregations may find themselves in conflict. Professor Leanna Fuller will facilitate a session to help ministry leaders prepare to address their congregations on the Sunday following the elections, even if the final results might not yet be known. Registration for this event is not required.
