This is the official page of the 2012 Second Language Research Forum (SLRF).
SLRF 2012 will be held jointly by the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University from October 18-21, 2012. Pittsburgh is known as the "City of Bridges", and we hope to use this idea to highlight the bridges that exist between the various disciplines involved in second language acquisition (SLA) research. Information about the conference hotels can be found at http://www.cmu.edu/slrf2012/hotels.html.
We have arranged for special rates for SLRF 2012 attendees at these hotels, which are all less than 1.5 miles from Carnegie Mellon University.
We will also be providing dedicated shuttle buses between these hotels and the conference venue (the University Center at Carnegie Mellon) on Thursday evening, Friday morning, Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning.
