We did not have any election but will be sending home asking if anyone is interested in becoming an officer. We will also be making some changes to when we have meetings and how often we meet. Will keep you all informed. Thank you.

There will be a PSO meeting tomorrow (APril 28, 2014) at 6 PM. We will begin with two different presentations from different guests. Val Wojton/John Gibson will present about ASL/English that are being taught in classrooms and Jennifer Craig will talk about the Sound Field system that are being used in classrooms. Hope you all can come. After the presentations we will resume with a short PSO meeting.

The next PSO meeting will be held next week on Monday, Feb 24th, 2014 at 6:00 PM. It will be Live Stream if you can not make it. We will start off with Jessica Marks presenting about Outreach programs then we will proceed with PSO meeting. The new Lions Den will be open before the meeting for anyone who wants to see it and also can order food and drinks. Hope to see you all there!

On November 1st and 2nd (Friday and Saturday) WPSD wil be hosting a volleyball tournament against other deaf schools. PSO will be setting up a table to share information about what PSO is and sell items (t-shirts, hooded sweaters, etc.) from the Paws Shop. We are looking for WPSD parents, family members, staff and friends to volunteer an hour or so to sit at the booth to sell items. If you are able to help out please e-mail me and let me know. I will set up a schedule for anyone to sign up. My PSO email is [email protected] or you can inbox me in WPSD PSO Face book. We will have a table for a few hours on Sat and Sunday and it is a good way to meet other parents and staff. Any question please let me know.
