Don’t miss this year’s Carnegie Mellon Double Bass Symposium on March 1!

Presenters for the 2026 Carnegie Mellon Double Bass Symposium will include Max Dimoff, Rachel Calin, Kurt Muroki, Jeff Mangone, the Pittsburgh Symphony Double Bass Section, and Nina Bernat as the featured recitalist! Jason Heath will be there to cover the event.

Sponsors/Exhibitors include Shank’s Strings, Bob’s House of Basses, Upton Bass, 050 Rosin, and Guarneri House.

All performances and classes will be held in Kresge Theatre. The exhibitors will be located in Alumni Concert Hall in the College of Fine Arts Building.

This event will be in person and streamed live on Carnegie Mellon’s YouTube Channel.
