We have chosen this organization because it aligns with our ideas of empowering women and girls who have faced hardships. Some of their projects are building confinement-to-college pathways for girls, reducing gender-based violence in African American communities, and improving employment outcomes for formerly incarcerated women.

Please consider donating to this cause. Although things have started to return to normal, we need to challenge what normal was and push for change so that the new normal is more inclusive and self-aware. Our goal is to raise $1,500 and the Panhellenic executive board will match donates up to $500.

Now more than ever we must come together to use our collective voices to speak out against racism, hatred, and bigotry. Below is a joint statement from Pitt’s Tri-Council.

Today, we remember the victims of the Tree of Life shooting and celebrate the lives of the people that were taken from us way too soon.
