Before a new school year begins, we’re celebrating faculty and staff who reached 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30-year work anniversary milestones at the end of last school year. We’re grateful for the many years they’ve spent learning, growing, and shaping the WT community.

This summer, students in Access:Innovation were challenged to listen first and design second. This program, in partnership with Pittsburgh Public Schools, brought together middle and high school students from WT and PPS for three weeks of learning, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.

Students connected with community partners across Pittsburgh before using human-centered design to develop assistive technology prototypes and interactive experiences focused on emotional wellness.

We’re wrapping up our Memory Monday series with photos from last year’s ninth grade retreat! 💜🌳 Each year, students entering ninth grade head to Camp Guyasuta to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new classmates, and build relationships with their faculty advisors before beginning their Upper School experience.

This year’s retreat will also be an opportunity for students to get to know WT’s new Director of Upper School, Mr. Tony! He’ll join the Class of 2030 for a day of adventure games and community building.

We can’t wait to welcome our newest Upper School students! 🐻
