We’re so proud of our two FHC seniors who won top two awards given to graduating Pitt undergraduates!

Satyaj Bhargava won the Emma Locke Award, which recognizes scholarship, leadership, character and devotion to the ideals of the University of Pittsburgh. Satyaj was also a 2025 Goldwater Scholar!

Brandon Hale, our FHC Student Council President, was named ODK Senior of the Year in recognition of his outstanding leadership and embodiment of Pitt’s values of collaboration, inclusivity and scholarship.

Alanna Schill, a senior double major in secondary education and history in the Frederick Honors College at Pitt-Greensburg, has achieved a historic first as the first-ever Fulbright winner for the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg! She’ll travel to the Czech Republic in August for a 10-month commitment that will bolster her preparedness to become a teacher in the Pennsylvania school system upon her return to the states! Congratulations, Alanna!

Four FHC students were recently named to the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program! They'll be pursuing graduate study in STEM related fields supported by the National Science Foundation. Congratulations to Sophia Freemyer, Aragya Goyal, César Guerra-Solano, and Mary McGrory!
