WE’RE HIRING at Pittsburgh Music House!

We’re looking for two part-time private lesson instructors to join our play-based, student-centered studio:
🎵 Multi-Instrumentalist Teacher
🎹 Piano/Voice Teacher

We work with private students ages 3–99, from beginners to advanced musicians, and value creativity, flexibility, and joyful music-making. Mentorship and training in our teaching approach is provided.

Pay: $40/hour, with paid lesson planning and professional development
Schedule: Weekday evenings (some Saturdays) beginning in mid–late May

This has been such a tricky week. In our three years in business, we haven’t yet had to deal with this amount of snow! While the roads are improving, our parking lot still needs care (shoveling, salting, and maintenance) so that it can be completely safe for everyone coming and going for lessons.

As outlined in our policies, we follow the North Hills School District for weather-related closures. Given the variability of conditions from neighborhood to neighborhood, and varying comfort levels with driving (especially for families heading out with young children), this approach helps ensure consistency and safety for everyone.

Thank you so much for your understanding. We can’t wait to see you again as soon as schools reopen. Stay safe and warm!
