The Education Partnership Providing school supplies for students and teachers in under-resourced schools in Southwestern PA For kids to learn, they need the tools.

It's a problem so simple, it gets overlooked— leaving 1 in 3 local kids without basic school supplies. This year alone, we equipped more than 55,000 local kids to succeed in the classroom. 55,000 more still need our help. With your help, we can reach every student.

Here’s a fun riddle: when are Pittsburgh Steelers and Bears on the same side? When the Bears are from Clairton Elementary School!

Last week, the Freiermuth Fund gave away school supply kits to every student at Clairton Elementary. The students were so excited to say hi again to Pat and Jillian Freiermuth, giving them hugs, high fives, and special drawings they made for them.

It always means a lot to students to see recognized members of their own community offering a helping hand. Knowing they have someone they look up to on their team makes a big impact!

Sometimes the items are just right!

Last week, we had two social workers from Mon Valley School District come into shop at our free Teacher Resource Center, and we had exactly what they needed!

They shared their excitement about our variety of spicy chip options they could give to their students. It’s a highly requested item that they otherwise would have had to buy out of pocket! We also have a large selection of books, including wellness journals, that are perfect for social workers to help students work through their feelings.

We wish them luck throughout their school year, and hope these items provide them an opportunity to connect with the students they support!

Many who come to TEP get to see the change they’re making in students' lives firsthand, just like Chase Corporation did.

Recently, Chase Corporation showed immense generosity by funding all STEAM Possible Packs for the entire month! With so many SPPs leaving our Teacher Resource Center and heading into classrooms, the extra support couldn’t have come at a better time.

Chase Corporation also got to participate in the change firsthand. When they stopped in to volunteer, many employees and their families built kits using the funds they provided. This effectively doubles their impact.

To Chase Corporation and their employees, we thank you not only for your contribution, but also for your time. Our teachers thank you as well!

We aren’t kidding when we tell educators that IT HELPS US when they take more on their visits!

We met a teacher from Manchester Academic Charter School last week who was shopping for the first time at TEP, and she was hesitant to take as much as she needed from our free Teacher Resource Center. We understand that when educators see all the incredible things we give away, it can make them want to share these cool items with other educators. We love your kind nature and want to share these items with others, but let me tell you why we encourage the opposite.

It may seem like a contradiction, but when items are taken, that opens up space for us to get in even more items to support even more teachers. Besides, we encourage EVERY EDUCATOR to take what they need, because you all deserve it! Let us take care of the rest :)

Thank you, Union Fitness! 💙

Union Fitness has generously donated funds for 500 coats for students in Southwestern PA through our Warmer Together campaign. That's 500 kids who will have a warm coat to wear to school this winter. We are so grateful for their partnership and their commitment to our community.

The weather might feel warm right now, but colder months are right around the corner. Thanks to our partnership with Burlington Coat Factory, we can buy coats at just 50 cents each, and our goal is to provide 3,500 coats this year. Last year, Warmer Together provided thousands of children with essential winterwear, and Union Fitness is helping us make an even bigger impact.

Want to join them? Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can make this winter warmer for every child. 🧣🧤
