Thirty-four years ago today, the Pens won their first Back-to-Back Championships defeating the Chicago Black Hawks in a 4-game Final sweep.

A look back 35 years ago this week, the Pens captured their first Stanley Cup Championship!

Pens Alum Pat Graham Passes at 64

Pens Alumni are saddened about a loss in our hockey family with the passing of former defenseman Pat Graham at age 64.

Graham was drafted by the Penguins in 1970 and spent two seasons (1981-83) with the Penguins before moving on to the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. His career was cut short in Toronto after battling chronic back problems.

After hockey, his career pivoted to the healthcare field where he earned a degree in chiropractic therapy. His commitment to athlete wellness then led him to a position working with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat’s family and friends.

Bryan Trottier Meets Athletes at the 2026 Special Hockey Spring Invitational

On April 11, Pens alum Bryan Trottier met athletes from 11 special hockey teams from across the Pittsburgh region and neighboring states.

The 2-day event featured 9 hockey games, skills & development sessions, and the meet & greet with Trottier.

An amazing event that supports the belief shared by the Pens Alumni and the Pens Foundation that everyone deserves a place in hockey!
