When you operate a business day-to-day, it’s easy to get caught up in the immediate metrics—the enrollment numbers, the meeting schedules, the logistics.
But stepping into a research and strategy role these past few years has forced me to look 15, 20, even 30 years down the road. What does the future look like when a 3-year-old becomes a manager, a spouse, or a parent?
The research on early intervention is beautiful because it proves that emotional intelligence isn't a temporary phase—it's a trajectory. The toddler who learns to name their anger today is the teenager who handles peer pressure tomorrow, and the adult who leads with empathy in the future.
We are building a generation of emotionally resilient humans, one child at a time.

👂✨ Let's dive into the amazing world of the five senses this week!
Ever thought about how some of our friends use assistive devices like hearing aids to experience the sounds around them? It's like having a little magic that helps them join in the conversation and enjoy the music of life. 🎶
And speaking of touch, did you know some people read with their fingers using Braille? It's a beautiful dance of dots under their fingertips, bringing stories to life. 📚
Having open chats with kids about these differences is key. It not only fosters understanding but also makes inclusivity a part of their everyday mindset. Let’s help them see the world through a lens of empathy and curiosity. 🌍
Got any tips or personal experiences on talking about inclusivity with children? Drop them below! Your story could be the spark that encourages someone else. 💬

💬 Social-Emotional Learning isn’t just for the classroom—it starts at home. 🏡
We talk a lot about the CASEL Framework and how we use it to build emotional intelligence in our classrooms. But what does that actually look like in real life when you're hanging out in the living room or navigating a busy evening routine?
The fourth core pillar of this framework is Relationship Skills—the ability to establish and maintain healthy, supportive connections and effectively navigate interactions with others. When children develop strong relationship skills, they learn how to become great friends, cooperative partners, and effective communicators.
Check out the photo below to see exactly how Relationship Skills translate into real, everyday wins in your home!

This week's theme is The Human Body! 🧠🫀
Our little learners have been having an absolute blast diving into hands-on discovery! From examining x-rays and exploring bones on the light table to gathering around our giant body diagram to learn all about our organs, curiosity is running high in our classrooms.
We love seeing these bright minds investigate how our amazing bodies work! ✨

Ever feel like a toddler meltdown comes out of absolutely nowhere? 🌪️ It’s so easy to reflexively say, "You're okay, you're fine!" to try and calm the storm. But sometimes, our little ones just need to know that we see how big their world feels right now.
Try this trick next time big emotions hit: Name the feeling to tame the feeling. 🏷️❤️
When we label what’s happening ("I see your body is tense and you're stomping. You are feeling really frustrated right now, aren't you?"), it actually helps calm their nervous system. Once they feel heard, it’s a lot easier to move toward a solution together.
Drop a ❤️ if you’re going to try this at home this week, or share your favorite go-to calm-down trick in the comments! 👇

A year ago, we looked at the data surrounding early childhood development and felt a massive pull to do something different. We saw parents feeling overwhelmed by "big behaviors" at home, and our educator friends feeling burnt out trying to manage classroom dynamics while hitting academic benchmarks. We realized there was a missing bridge.
We wanted to create a program that spoke both languages—the language of the living room and the language of the classroom. Two years ago I was lucky enough to go on a trip with the Pirates where I was speaking to a representative from Highmark. Unfortunately for him, he got an earful from me for all of the dinner of the changes we need to be making in the world of early childhood development, mental health, regulation and behavior tools, teacher support, etc. He then explained the Cai & Kate®️ program along with their mission and recommended a meeting of how we can work together. All it took was one meeting and we knew we had something special. We took their already created program and used our expertise to make videos and a curriculum for our littlest hatchings ages 0-5.
It wasn’t built overnight. It started right here, over lukewarm coffee, messy notebooks, and a shared passion to give kids the emotional toolkits they deserve.
Thank you for being part of this journey from day one. We can’t wait to show you what’s next!
