Teaching Heart was started in 1998 as a place for Colleen Gallagher (an elementary teacher) to store and share her lessons. In 2002 Teaching Heart started selling products created by Colleen. Teaching Heart still has tons of free resources as well as products that if purchased help to keep Teaching Heart online.

Each year, Pearl takes her job VERY seriously—she’s our official poster judge! Students compete in a coloring contest, hoping to earn Pearl’s vote. With so many awesome posters to choose from, it’s a tough decision… and by the end, Pearl is worn out from all that hard thinking (check out the third picture)! BEST OF LUCK to my third graders taking their first state test on Monday!
