Kelsey Ables covers the intersection of AI and art in a piece for the Washington Post, as presciently addressed by Maury Zeff's play "The Frozen Sea". Dialogues like those held after our staged reading at summit are critical to public investment and input on experts driving technology discovery and application. Would Klimt have supported this effort, would he have felt ownership of the recolored art? Does art happen without human involvement?

What is your go-to power outfit for a killer presentation? Aoife is ecstatic her team's research panned out. They're ready to present, but she's concerned about the messages she sends with the clothes she wears. Gender constructs and societal expectations about the clothes we wear can trigger biased receptions. Women in STEM fields often have to manage these subconscious signals in addition to preparing concise and eloquent research presentations.

We're kicking off by showcasing Aoife's short films on how she feels about being a member of the q***r community, a daughter of immigrants, and an engineer. She describes her incredible research on artificial lymph node engineering. Our life experiences shape our research and problem-solving approaches. Aoife is one of the millions of women in science who bring unique perspectives to their fields. As Liz so eloquently illustrated in her stacks last week, we all struggle with imposter syndrome, and that can include feeling very alone and like you are not a good fit in your identified career.
