At the Foundation's Annual Scholarship Dinner, Bishop Joseph Kopacz shared that the cause remains "very solid" and could advance to the next stage of canonization in the coming years. The Sister Thea Bowman Black Catholic Education Foundation proudly congratulates Scholar Banchiayhu Berhanu ’30 on the celebration of her recent Signing Day at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School as she prepares to begin her college journey this fall at Loyola University Chicago.
At Loyola, Banchiayhu plans to study Business Management with hopes of building a career in project management. Her Signing Day celebration marked an important milestone and recognized the hard work, determination, and commitment that have brought her to this exciting next chapter.
