The Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce a call forpapers that explore the significance of cultures of children’s play and gender. The conference will recognize newpursuits within the fields of childhood, girlhood, boyhood, race, and gender studies in local, national, and globalcontexts. This conference will coincide with local events on Saturday, March 22nd, focusing on childhood and play.

Please spread the word! We are advertising a Visiting Instructor position in gender/sexuality studies for the coming year and welcome ABD applicants as well as PhDs. The position requires in-person teaching so cannot be held remotely. This is a position open to candidates in any school at Pitt as well as candidates coming from other institutions, but we expect a mainly-local applicant pool.
