Due to the recent developments in the global pandemic of COVID-19, the University of Pittsburgh is cancelling the Hesselbein Global Academy’s 2020 Student Leadership Summit that was scheduled for July 17-21, 2020. Therefore, we will no longer be accepting applications for the 2020 Summit. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment that this may cause. At this time, we are considering options for offering virtual leadership development opportunities, and we will communicate via our website at www.hesselbein.pitt.edu once that information is available.

Meet Mackenzie Brown! Mackenzie is the Graduate Intern for the 2019 Hesselbein Global Academy and a current student in the Higher Education Management Master of Education program at the University of Pittsburgh. She is interested in student development, multi- and inter-cultural programming, and instructional design.
Fun fact: Mackenzie spricht etwas Deutsch und reist gerne.

Meet Dr. Sarah Popovich! She is an Assistant Director for the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development at the University of Pittsburgh. In her role, Sarah manages the Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership & Civic Engagement. Sarah is committed to developing students who practice culturally diverse leadership to create positive social change for their communities and throughout the world.
Fun fact: she studied abroad in 11 different countries during college!
