Congratulations to Mr. Mochan and the Husky Wrestling Team............City Champs!!!! We are so proud of this crew of outstanding students both on and off the matt!

Last week was TEACHER APPECIATION WEEK and wow did we feel so loved!!
Dr. Frioni and Ms. Zaremski went out of their way showering us with breakfast, lunch, snacks, staff games and prizes and just pure appreciation that we all felt so deeply! We are such a lucky staff here at South Hills 😀
As the week went on we were thanking the parents who were bringing things for us as well. I, personally, left early on Friday due to health issues but I don't want to miss out on thanking ANYONE and EVERYONE for all the nice things that were done for us!

Thank you to Melanie LaMond Ballinger who is one of our beloved lunch aides as well as the parent of Emma Tadesco for treats on Friday, and to Mario Columbus' family for Trays of Primanti Sandwiches and salad as well ! We can't thank you all enough for noticing us working diligently to help your students!

Greetings, South Hills families: It is with regret that the International Night celebration scheduled for Thursday, 5/14/26, has been cancelled. Unfortunately, there will not be a make-up date for this event. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Friday is BRING YOUR DAD TO SCHOOL DAY and our festivities begin at 8:30 AM ending at 10:30 AM.

Jordyn White's mother and Adrian Ford-Williams aunt, Jessica White, just dropped off cookies and bagels from Bruegger's bagels. Gotta say that the 'everything bagel' is EVERYTHING!

Good Morning Huskies!
So glad to see most of you have returned from our Spring Break! Can't wait to see the rest of you as you come back slowly!

Just a reminder : On April 22, 23 and 24 we will operate on an ASynchronous schedule. Students are expected to log in from home and get their work from each teacher through schoology!
This decision was made by Dr. Walters with total regard to student safety. MANY of the district's high school students use public transportation and in no way do we want our students traveling through downtown with close to a million extra people around!!
Also, our busing would have been disasterous just trying to get through most neighborhoods!
Regular in- person schooling will continue on Monday, April 27.

** PSCC meeting is this Thursday at 4:30 pn, April 9. More information will follow !
