🌟 Calling All Community Professionals, Entrepreneurs & Mentors! 🌟

This summer, our older campers at London Bridges Summer Camp will be exploring exciting weekly themes focused on life skills, leadership, careers, health, creativity, and community involvement.

We’re looking for guest speakers who would be willing to volunteer just 1 hour to speak with our campers (ages 5–13, with a focus on our older children) about a topic related to one of our weekly themes.

Some examples include:

💇 Self-Care, Hygiene & Confidence
💻 STEM, Technology & Internet Safety
🎨 Arts, Photography & Creative Expression
🎵 Music, Dance & Performance

🏀 Sports, Fitness & Teamwork
🎓 Career Exploration & Leadership

We would love for our children to hear real-life experiences, ask questions, and learn from positive role models in our community. Whether you’re a business owner, healthcare professional, educator, artist, athlete, tradesperson, first responder, or community leader, your story could inspire a child!

🍩💕 Doughnuts With Grown-Ups was such a sweet success at London Bridges Child Development Center! Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, family members, and very important people who were able to participate in our special event today.

We wanted to combine Mother’s Day and Father’s Day into one celebration so that every child feels included, loved, and celebrated because families come in many different forms, and every child deserves a special grown-up by their side. 💛

Our families enjoyed doughnuts and fresh fruit while spending quality time laughing, talking, and creating together. The children had so much fun making their very own doughnuts using paper plates, paint, and pipe cleaners for sprinkles! 🎨✨🍩

Moments like these help strengthen the bridge between home and school, and we are so thankful for our village. Thank you for making memories with us today!

The whole Month of February we celebrated...but more importantly we hosted a kid friendly event for the toddlers wearing ALL BLACK to honor, celebrate, and uplift Black History, culture, and excellence! Black to me represents unity, strength, resilience, and pride. Wearing it helped remind our black and brown little ones that they come from greatness and can be anything they dream to be!
