Attention JMS 8th grade families:

We are quickly approaching the end of year pool party and picnic for 8th grade students. The party takes place on the afternoon of June 1 at Main park/pool. Students are bussed with staff to the pool.

JMS and MMS are joining forces this year to host an exciting day at the pool and park for our 8th grade students. We need your help in securing snacks, drinks, decor and some fun raffles. Items should be dropped off at 698 Country Club Drive or 1386 Craigview Drive by Thursday, May 27.

A huge thank you to our amazing raffle basket donors and the incredible JMS families! Your generosity and energy made the Teacher vs. Student Basketball game such a fun and successful event. Together, we raised $2148 in support of American Cancer Society - Breast Cancer Research. We couldn’t have done it without our sponsors support !

Jefferson Middle School has been designated as a Pennsylvania Don Eichhorn “School to Watch.” This honor highlights JMS’s dedication to fostering a supportive and innovative educational environment. The school will be celebrated on a local and national level in the spring of 2026. JMS was one of 12 exemplary Middle Grades Schools in Pennsylvania to receive this recognition.
