We asked for your support to fill up Arlington’s food pantry and you did not disappoint! We packed 3 SUVs and a pick up truck filled to the brim with food/toiletries yesterday and delivered it to the school. They were very appreciative!

Your response was overwhelming and the items that you donated will go to children and their families who very much need them.

Many thanks to Meghan Larsen Reidy for bringing this wonderful school into our view! Also thanks to Mt. Lebanon Public Library for being a community drop box site.

The Mt. Lebanon Council of PTA has organized a districtwide food drive running through this Friday, February 13, collecting nonperishable food and necessities for a new school-based food and clothing pantry at Arlington Pittsburgh Public School. Learn more in Mt. Lebanon Magazine, linked below!

Mt. Lebanon Council of PTAs is organizing a food drive. Arlington is a local Pittsburgh Public School that has a food and clothing pantry. Like Mt. Lebanon, most of the students walk to school because bussing is limited. Consider making a donation to help restock their pantry.

Please avoid sending things in glass containers and check expiration dates please.

The wishlist is an example of items requested. You can purchase additional types and quantities of the same categories.

Boxes will be placed at each school and the library starting on Monday but online purchases (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1WGOO7AIPTF7Z?ref_=wl_share) and Paypal donations ([email protected]) can be made starting now.
