We love a Do No Harm photo shoot — and this time, it’s headed to Times Square! 🫶📸🗽

Last week, Dr. Donald Sheffield dedicated his book, "Bringing America Greatness," to North Hills in recognition of the district’s commitment to belonging, respect and leadership. Dr. Sheffield, district leaders, current students and alumni gathered for a commemorative photo, and it will soon be displayed in Times Square! The display will celebrate Dr. Sheffield’s work and the North Hills community’s commitment to ensuring everyone feels seen, valued and empowered.

🔔💻 Reminder! North Hills High School laptop pickup is happening today and Monday in the cafeteria!

Each high school student will again receive a Dell Latitude 3140 2-in-1 Laptop to support their academic needs throughout the school year.

We're less than two weeks away from on Tuesday, August 25! 🥳

North Hills High School orientations for rising ninth graders and all new students will be held this Thursday, Aug. 13 at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. (Choose one to attend.)

We are also holding laptop pickup in the high school cafeteria on these days:
💻 Thursday: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
💻 Monday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
(Laptops not picked up on these will be distributed on the first day of school.)

Please note: The window to purchase insurance for both laptops and iPads is not yet open! We will alert families when it's time to log into One2One to accept the insurance and pay. TIA!

🚘 North Hills High School students are permitted to drive to school and park in the student parking lot with a valid parking pass. An application and $50 fee must be submitted each school year.

Applications are now being accepted for student parking passes for the 2026-27 school year.

🎉 Exciting news! North Hills is hosting a regional Do No Harm Student Conference! On November 2, student leaders from schools across the Pittsburgh region will join us on the Hilltop for a day focused on kindness, empathy, inclusion, and respect.

Community partners are invited to support this impactful student-led event through sponsorships and in-kind donations. Together, we can help students lead with kindness and build stronger school communities. 🫶

North Hills Athletics is excited to continue its advertising and sponsorship program for the 2026-27 school year, offering local businesses and organizations meaningful ways to support our student-athletes while connecting with the community.

It was an exciting day for North Hills yesterday as we hosted a delegation of educational leaders from Germany who came to learn more about public education in the United States! The delegates toured North Hills High School, met with students and staff, and engaged in meaningful discussions about instructional practices, school systems and educational policy, experiencing firsthand the pride, tradition, and excellence that define North Hills.

Participants exchanged ideas, shared challenges and explored innovative approaches to education. Conversations also included the possibility of a future student exchange program. 🇺🇸🏫🇩🇪

The group is visiting both rural and urban elementary and secondary schools across Pennsylvania to gain broader insight into American public education. Thank you to our guests for visiting, our students who led the tour, and to our staff and the PA School Boards Association for making such a meaningful and memorable day possible!
