Excited to share this video of my competition performance. This performance felt amazing!

I have made no secret about the fact that dance is my therapy, and this performance in particular was SO healing.

I never compete to win a trophy or to get the highest score, I compete purely because I love being on stage and I feel so alive when I perform.

The fact that I was in the company of so many talented, highly skilled and trained dancers from amazing studios pushed and inspired me to perform at my highest.
What a gift to be rewarded by the judges with a generous 11th place score. I do not envy their job, every dancer that graces that stage is so talented, but I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for the recognition and open-armed acceptance into the NYCDA family.

Thank you to and for the love, the opportunities, and always cheering me on.

Thank you to for pushing me and challenging me to always be better and for treating me the way you treat every other dancer.

Thank you for this experience!

Thank you and for making the equipment to make my visions and passions come alive on stage.

And thank you God for not only keeping my head above water, but for always being beside me and behind me as I chase my dream of becoming all that you’ve made me to be.

After a long drive home, and a good night sleep, I’m still trying to process my amazing experience this weekend at . As one of the disabled dancers to attend convention and THE first disabled dancer to compete at , I definitely experienced some challenges. But the amazing staff,incredible teachers, and other beautiful souls that I met filled me with so much joy, and stoked the fire of my passion for dance.

This weekend left me with so much to be grateful for — I will cherish this experience in my heart forever ♾️
