🥚🚒 Hip Hop Hooray… It’s EGG DROP DAY! 🎉

Our 8th graders put their creativity, engineering skills, and problem-solving abilities to the test during our annual Egg Drop Challenge! 🥚🛠️

Students designed and built their own mechanisms to protect an egg from the ultimate drop test. Then came the big moment… eggs were dropped from the top of a Pittsburgh fire truck ladder! 🚒
Some eggs survived the fall… and some definitely did NOT! 😂🥚💥 But whether their eggs cracked or stayed intact, our students learned about design, forces, problem-solving, perseverance, and learning from failure.

A HUGE thank you to the Elliott Firefighters for helping make this exciting hands-on learning experience possible! We appreciate you helping our students take learning to new heights!

🚀Annual 8th Grade Space Camp Week! 🚀

Our 8th graders are reaching for the stars during our annual Space Camp Week! 🌎🌙🪐

Yesterday, students took to the “launch pad” to test the Cuderia flyers they built. They challenged one another to see whose flyer could travel the farthest—and there was some serious competition!

🏆 Congratulations to Joey, our winner for the longest flight!

Today was a truly special day at Guardian Angel Academy as we celebrated the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels and welcomed Bishop Eckman. We were blessed to have him celebrate Mass with our school community.

As part of the celebration, representatives from each class presented Bishop Eckman with their classroom Sacred Heart pictures to be blessed. He also led our school in the Prayer of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, creating a beautiful and meaningful moment of faith for our students and staff.

Following Mass, we had a sweet celebration! Our students enjoyed delicious donuts generously provided by our wonderful PTG.

What a blessed day filled with faith, fellowship, and a little sweetness!
Sacred Heart of Jesus, bless our school community!
