Even the best students may find an area or two that could use some skill building. We are here to help give YOU some strategies to bridge the gap between the skills you arrived with and the skills your professors are expecting from you in class. Whe

ther you are in need of a Success Workshop on a specific topic, a few handouts with some study tips, tutoring for a specific course, or even one-on-one academic success coaching, we are here to help you become a better student! We wanted to share a resource that we believe many Pitt State families will find valuable! Pittsburg State University recently launched the Family Portal, a centralized place for parents and family members to stay connected and informed about important dates, campus events, financial aid information, academic resources, and other university updates.

As parents and family members, we all want to support our students while also encouraging them to build independence throughout their college experience. Having a trusted place to access important information makes that support a little easier.
If you are the parent or family member of a current or future Gorilla, we encourage you to sign up and explore the Family Portal. It is a great way to stay engaged and connected throughout your student's journey at Pittsburg State University.
