📚 Years in Education: First year, Amber previously worked in healthcare.

❤️ A Little About Amber:
“I have three daughters, Kaylee, 21, Lainey, 17, and Ellie, 11, and two stepdaughters, Talise and Winter. I love watching all the kids play sports and being a coach’s wife. I was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and went to work in healthcare when all my girls started school.”
💙 Favorite Part of Working at Pittsburg:
“My favorite part about working at Pittsburg is how friendly and accepting everyone has been to my family.”

Fishing, going to the lake, gardening, and riding side-by-sides.

“I love the family-oriented environment of Pittsburg. Not just the school, but the town as a whole. When there is a need, it gets taken care of.”
🥰 Favorite Pittsburg Memory:
“My favorite memory at Pittsburg is something I get to enjoy every day. I have gotten to watch both of my babies grow up from infants to now a 5-year-old and almost 3-year-old. Watching how the kids interact with and love on my babies has truly been a blessing. I will always be thankful for the opportunity to be with my girls every day and to have them surrounded by other staff members who care for them like their own.”
😂 Fun Fact:
“I refuse to watch horror movies. I’m a big chicken!”

“When I am not at school, you will always find me outside with the girls. We have a funny farm with lots of animals cows, goats, pigs, chickens, quail, and rabbits to take care of, a big garden, and when it cools off, hunting and fishing!”

For our next spotlight, we’re featuring someone who stays pretty busy keeping up with Panther athletics!

Meet Coach Ashley Rush, our Athletic Director, Basketball, Track & Golf Coach! 🏀🏃‍♀️⛳️🐾

📚 Years in Education: Beginning year 10

❤️ A Little About Coach Rush:
“I have the best title in the world: ‘Auntie!’ ❤️ I’m also the type to cancel plans because I’d rather just hang out with my dog, Liv Rush.” 🐶
💙 Favorite Part of Working at Pittsburg:
“The family atmosphere and culture we share.”
🏀 Favorite Pittsburg Memory:
Making the State Tournament in basketball last year! 💙🐾

Even though she coaches basketball, track, and golf, Coach Rush says her favorite sport is actually football!
