Last Friday, we got to partner with the PSU Foundation to host the 35th annual Presidents Society Celebration at the Kelce College of Business! It was a beautiful event attended by many esteemed donors of the university who have impacted the lives of thousands of students across campus, including those in attendance that night.

We were honored to have a handful of Ambassadors speak at the event to briefly share their stories, including Madi Carson, who completed a portrait drawing of Gus during the night. A silent auction was held for the piece to help kick off the PSU Foundation's new Access.PittState. Capital Campaign—the goal of raising $100 million in 5 years!

What a gift it was to celebrate the university and some of the individuals who make it possible for us to further our education here! While these donors have clearly made a huge impact for our campus, we are also thankful for each student, faculty member, and staff member who contribute to making Pitt State the best it can be. We look forward to how the opportunities here will continue growing, and we can't wait to be part of it! Here's to the next five years (and more!) of imagining possibilities! 🥳 🦍

It's always a good day to be a Gorilla…but gamedays are always a little extra special! Take a look at some of the GorillaFest activities from yesterday—we are so proud of our Advancement Ambassadors and all of the ways they are involved on gameday!

Next game, don't forget to bring your kids by our booths for the inflatables, hair paint, and stickers 🏈

Happy start to the 2026-2027 school year! It’s so great to have students back on campus again, and we are SO excited for everything to come with this new year.

This year’s Ambassadors got a strong start with orientation this week, which included some fun team building activities 🙌

We’re looking forward to everything this group is going to do and lead, and we hope you’ll follow along and participate as we work to spread gratitude for and awareness about philanthropy on the Pitt State campus. Here’s to another year—Go ‘Rillas!

And with that, the 2025-2026 school year comes to an end 🫡

Last night, we got to recognize a few of our wonderful Advancement Ambassadors and celebrate the hard work this group has put in!

⭐ Graduating Seniors - Bianca Alvarado, Kylie Wimberly, Addi Casada, Lindsay Pruett, John Gilmore, Canyon Hendrickson, and Austin Parrish

⭐ Recipients of the Outstanding Advancement Ambassador Award - Callie Underwood, Rylee Liermann, and Cindy Cruz

⭐ Recipient of the Ryan Urban Advancement Ambassador Award - Jayli Johnson

We will miss our graduating members, but are so thankful for the time we've had with them. We look forward to having another great year with our new and returning members when we come back in the fall! Good luck on finals, and Go Gorillas 🤗🦍

Last night, a few of our Ambassadors had the chance to sit with former member Ryan Urban! It was great to hear about his time at Pitt State and gain valuable advice that we can carry into both our personal and professional lives.

As a student, Ryan was a highly-involved leader whose experience inspired him to establish The Ryan Urban Advancement Ambassador Award, which recognizes one outstanding member each year. We look forward to awarding this at the end of the semester. Thank you, Ryan!

Apple Day 2026! 🍎

What a fun day we had getting to celebrate Pitt State. Thank you to everyone who came to our soda bar, wrote Thank You's to our donors, and participated in our giveaway! It's amazing to be part of a campus that's full of so many thankful students. Wouldn't be the same without you, Gorillas! 🦍

04/06/2026

In honor of this year's T.A.G. week, the Advancement Ambassadors will be hosting a giveaway at Wednesday's Apple Day activities on the Axe Library lawn 🙌

Stop by our table to get a cup and drink from our dirty soda bar AND have a chance to enter the giveaway by saying thank you to one of Pitt's first-time donors. Students can do this by writing a "Thank you" note at the table or by saying "Thank you" in a video!

Entries for the giveaway will only be accepted in-person this way, and the winner will be announced on Thursday the 9th. The prize includes a PSU Foundation tumbler, straw topper, Thankful Gorillas t-shirt, pen, and a $50 voucher to the on-campus bookstore.

You won't want to miss this opportunity, so mark your calendars for 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday! We'll see you there 🍎 🙏
