Fun with Foreign Languages Program’s mission is to provide young children in our Pittsburg community with the opportunity to learn two of the most popular languages in the world, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. Through games, interactive playing, and competitions, your child will have a head start to grow alongside the additional language and culture, developing a deeper connection with it as he/she matures. Learning more than one language as a young child not only enhances cognitive development through abstract, creative, and higher-order thinking, but also nurtures the child’s curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and empathy toward people from different cultures.
