❗️❗️Now accepting new students ❗️❗️

We are a traditional karate school and have been in Pittsburg, KS since 1977. Our style is Sh*to-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai. We also study Okinawan Kobudo (weapons) and Japanese Batto (sword).

We offer classes for ages 6 and up.

Junior classes are Monday & Thursday 5:30-6:25pm (8-15 year olds).

Junior class (6-7 year olds) is Tuesday 5:00-5:50pm and Thursday 5:00-5:25pm.

Adult classes are Tuesday 6:00-7:00pm and Thursday 7:30-8:25pm.

Saturday 10:00-11:00am open to all students (Juniors under 8 with instructor permission).

Kobudo and Batto classes are available with instructor permission.

Instructional fees are 30/1st member and $20/each additional in the household. Cash and check only, no credit or debit cards.

We do not offer private lessons.

You're more than welcome to come and observe a class or even try one class (complete registration/liability form and one class is free of charge). T-shirt and shorts/sweat pants (above the feet) are fine to start out in. We do have uniforms for sale but it's okay to wait to purchase.
