🛍️ Calling All 4th & 5th Grade Families! 🛍️

We're looking for volunteers for our upcoming PHE Thrift Store Work Groups!

📅 5th Grade Night: Monday, September 15 | 6:00-8:00 PM
📅 4th Grade Day: Saturday, September 27 | 1:00-3:00 PM

Help straighten, clean, and hang clothing at the Cole Park PTA Thrift Shop while supporting our school. Funds raised help provide much-needed classroom supplies for PHE students and teachers.

⭐ Students ages 10+ may volunteer with an adult
⭐ Volunteers receive 50% off purchases while volunteering
⭐ You do not have to volunteer with your grade level, so join whichever date works best for your family!

Are you interested in helping us provide snacks/food for our staff, there is one every month with a fun theme and you can sign up for 1 or more, we have plenty of spots open!

Food can be stored bought (PTA can reimburse with receipts provided) or homemade.
Here are some pictures of what we have done the previous year.

✨Our September one is coming up, on the 15th with the theme being "Orange you glad we crushed the first weeks of school..."

🍂 Fall is Full of Fun at Perry Harrison! 🍂

The Perry Harrison PTA has an exciting season planned for our students, families, and staff! From Thrift Shop Work Groups and Curriculum Night to the SOS Fundraiser, STEM Family Night, Movie Night, Book Fair, Holiday Parade, and Cookie Exchange, there are so many ways to get involved this fall.

Check out our Fall & Spring at a Glance calendars and mark your calendars for all the great events ahead. Dates are subject to change, so be sure to follow PTA updates throughout the year.

📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS WEEK, SEPTEMBER 2! 📣

The Cole Park PTA Thrift Shop is looking for volunteers for our Work Group on September 2 from 6:00-8:00 PM. We need extra hands to help straighten, clean, and hang clothing after store hours.

Every volunteer shift helps raise money for classroom supplies and supports our amazing teachers and students. 💙

✅ No experience necessary
✅ Volunteers receive 50% off purchases while volunteering
✅ You do not have to volunteer with your child's grade level

Can't make it tomorrow? Please consider signing up for one of our upcoming work groups! We especially encourage families to help represent their child's grade on the dates designated for that class. The more participation we have from each grade level, the greater the impact we can make for our school community.

Just a couple of hours can make a big difference!

We are thrilled to welcome Latanya Anderson to the Mariner family as our new Pre-K Instructional Assistant/Bus Driver!

With 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Latanya is passionate about creating fun, safe, and engaging learning environments where children can learn and grow. She loves reading, spending time with family, and helping young learners build a strong foundation for success.

Latanya is excited to meet our students, families, and staff, and we are excited to have her as part of our Perry Harrison community!

Please help us welcome Magnum Peterson, who joins Perry Harrison as our new School Psychologist!

Magnum is entering his 11th year as a school psychologist and has worked in Iowa as well as several North Carolina school districts. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family.

Magnum is excited to support our students, staff, and families and looks forward to a wonderful year at Perry Harrison Elementary.

We are excited to welcome Angelica Moody to the Mariner family as our new CCTS Instructional Assistant/Bus Driver!

Angelica brings more than 12 years of experience working with special needs clients and their families. Her passion for helping others comes from both her professional experience and her personal journey as a parent. She is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment where every student feels safe, valued, and confident.
