🎓 Celebrating the Class of 2027! 🎓

Our seniors at Haw River Christian Academy are such a special part of our school family! We are incredibly proud of the people they are becoming and look forward to all that God has in store for each of them.

As they enter their final year at HRCA, we celebrate their accomplishments, cherish the memories they've made, and look forward to making this senior year one to remember!

Seniors, continue to lead with faith, pursue truth, serve others, and let your light shine wherever God leads you. We are cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️

One of our seventh graders got first place (overall) in the middle school boys' race.

We took five of the top six place spots in the middle school girls' race.

This week's teacher feature spotlights Dr. Connie Johnson. Dr. Johnson teachers
Grammar and Upper School Science and Math Teacher.

Dr. Johnson brings a deep love for life science and how it reveals the wonders of God’s creation to Haw River Christian Academy, where she teaches science from Kindergarten all the way to Rhetoric School.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She spent three years practicing as a chemist and 30 years in small animal medicine before her path took a turn toward her other dream vocation, teaching science, which she has now been doing for eight years at HRCA.

What drew Dr. Johnson to HRCA was the community, which she heard about through a local Bible study. Her love and passion for life science, combined with the opportunity to share a Christian worldview of it with students, is why she loves teaching at HRCA. She strives to shine the light of Christ in everything that she does, and her favorite passages are Ephesians 3:20 and Philippians 4:5-7, which remind her that God is the source of all things, including a peace that passes understanding.

Our capital campaign is important because it allows the school to invest not only in buildings and facilities, but in the future of its students and mission. Our new facilities will enable us to support the mission of Haw River Christian Academy, create new opportunities for our students, build a lasting legacy, and meet growth with excellence.

We are so thankful for our worship team with grades 1-12 represented! ❤️

Today, they did an incredible job leading our Haw River Christian Academy community in worship. Their time, preparation, musical gifts, and hearts for serving the Lord make such a difference.

What a blessing to watch our students worship together and be reminded that Christ is at the center of all we do.

Thank you, worship team, for using your gifts to glorify God and encourage our school family! 🙏
