Memorial School Nurse Notes – October 2026

Our school nurse has put together this month’s Nurse Notes with important reminders for Memorial School families, including the stay-home policy, sick pick-up policy, extra clothing and pull-up reminders, flu shot requirements, and the upcoming free flu clinic.

She is also looking for donations of boys’ and girls’ pants and NEW underwear in sizes 3T–6 to help keep the Nurse’s Office stocked for students who may need a change of clothes during the school day.

If you’re able to help, we’ve put together an Amazon Wishlist with the requested items. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and helps our Nurse’s Office continue to support our students.

📚 BOOK FAIR TIPS & TRICKS! 📚

Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming up October 5–7, and we put together a few tips to help make Book Fair shopping a little easier for families!

Our biggest tip: Set up an eWallet! It’s an easy, cash-free way for your child to shop at the Book Fair, and family and friends can contribute to their eWallet too.

Mum Pickup Reminder

Mums will be available for pickup:

Tuesday, September 29: 1:00–2:15 PM
Wednesday, September 30: 4:00–5:00 PM

If you are unable to make either pickup time, please reach out to us to make other arrangements.

If we do not hear from you by Wednesday, we will need to donate the remaining mums.

Thank you for helping us make sure everyone gets their orders!

MUM PICKUP UPDATE

MUM pickup scheduled for today has been canceled.

Pickup will now be available starting tomorrow from 4:00–7:00 PM.

If this pickup time does not work for you, please reach out to the Memorial HSA President to make other arrangements.

If you would like to volunteer as a Room Parent, please email [email protected] to receive the Room Parent form.

The deadline to submit the form is Friday. There will be no extensions. The form will automatically close at the deadline.
