Last week we had our annual bike day thanks to . Most of the kids were able to bring their bikes, we learned about the history of bikes, terminology, how they work, how to maintain and even some ridding tips! All the kids got to work with teacher rivers and do their own bike tune ups!

Ripple Forest School is a small, one-day-a-week, teacher-owned & -operated program for homeschool enrichment that takes place entirely outdoors in Pisgah Forest, NC. Classes are child-led, emergent, and play-based. We limit our classes to 8-12 students with 2 teachers to be sure our students and families get the attention and relationships they deserve.

School Year 2026-27
September 2026 - May 2027
ages 7-17 (Talk with us if your child is younger—we consider each child individually!)
Thursdays, 10am - 3pm (now 5 hours, as requested!)
$210/month (25% more class time. 12% LOWER hourly rate than last year!) - Scholarships and sliding scale are available.

June 11 - August 13; no class July 23
6-12 students with 2 teachers
$180/month (scholarships & sliding scale available)
