Thanks to everyone for coming out to support the PYC and raise funds for the Piseco Volunteer Fire Department during the 2025 PYC Poker Run. It was a great success, donating $326 to the PVFD!
Some participants were more enthused than others (cough* Piper), but everyone seemed to have a great time with a beautiful day on the lake. Congrats to Hunter Belleville with the winning hand - a full house! Congrats to 2nd and 3rd place winners: Deb Shepsis and Mary Beth Sherman respectively.

Thanks to all who participated in the free Intro to Sailing Clinic put on yesterday by PYC member David Belleville, with help from Commodore Linda, and volunteer instructors Michael, Becca, Erin, and Paul! We had a great turnout, nice steady wind, and fun time teaching and learning how to sail!

If you’re interested but missed it yesterday, keep an eye out for next year’s date — typically announced in May/June, and usually occurring in early July each year.

Look out! Three days of fun coming at you!
- The annual July 4th Parade of Boats is July 4th. There will be prizes as usual.
- Rain date for the parade will be July 5th
- Peter McIlroy Memorial Sunfish Bowl July 6th. This is a fun and casual way for new members to try your hand at a race - sunfish only!
- The Intro to Sailing Clinic you’ve been waiting for. July 7th at Poplar Point, 1pm. RSVPs preferred so we can have enough practice boats out there! DM to rsvp or for more info.

This year, we will be offering White Sunscreen Shirts.

There are 3 choices:
Unisex Long Sleeve
Unisex Short Sleeve
Women’s Long Sleeve

Each shirt will be approximately $45- depending on sales tax and how many we order.

If interested, DM me with your selection and size. If you’d like a size chart sent to you, let me know. MUST ORDER BY END OF DAY SUNDAY.
Shirts will be ordered Monday (6/2) for a delivery of approx. 6/18

Did you know Piseco Yacht Club adopted a 1 mile stretch of highway? Dedicated members keep our 1 mile clean by volunteering to pick up trash. Thanks to John and Roy for maintaining our environment!
