🚀 Scarlet Knights, we’re 15 days away from the Fall 2026 launch!
Registered students can add or drop classes until September 10. But students who haven’t initiated registration must do so by Friday, September 4 at 5 PM. ⌛
Time is running out to clear financial holds. Private loans must be certified for holds to be removed—applying alone doesn’t guarantee funding, and certification can take up to 14 business days.
If you have a delinquent balance with ECSI or a collections agency, it must be paid in full. The agency must confirm with Rutgers that your account is clear before any hold can be removed, and that confirmation can take up to five days.
One Stop will be available for phone and email only the afternoon of Thursday, September 3. Walk-in services will close 1:00 PM and reopen at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 4 Don’t wait until last minute! take action now so you don't run out of options. Let's make this launch a success! 🚀

🏠💵 Did you know a portion of your Cost of Attendance for an academic year is based on the housing plan? Make sure your housing choice is correct. 🏠 If not, you should submit the Housing Status Change Request form linked on award letter or accessed at:
https://scarlethub.rutgers.edu/HousingChange

Approximately 3 business days (if not sooner) after submitting this form, you will need to answer additional questions on the Housing Status Declaration document in the financial aid student portal.

The countdown to the Fall 2026 term has begun! Not yet registered? Now is this time to take care of any holds or re-enrollment tasks that may prevent registration. If you still plan on attending this Fall, review the steps you need to take as you soon may experience an interruption with your NetID services.

Seeing loans on your term bill and award letter you don't want? Direct federal loans can easily be declined but remember, your term bill balance could reflect a credit from loans. The balance will increase when OFFERED loans are removed. Stay tuned 📺 for future posts on offered aid and loan acceptance/declination tips.

The health insurance enrollment/waiver is now open for the Fall 2026 semester. The deadline to complete the form is September 25. If you submit the waiver, please know it will take several days for the charge to come off your term bill.
To waive or enroll in a plan, please visit University Health Plans' site below, search for Rutgers, and the select the appropriate options:

Come September, parents and supporters will need MyGuest Access for Rutgers to provide information for new students without student being present. If you want to waive your FERPA, don't forget set this up and provide your parent with the four-digit pin number.
