Are you a technical leader passionate about reproducible science and data discoverability? The IEEE Data Descriptions Steering Committee is seeking its next Editor-in-Chief.

As the only publication sponsored by every single IEEE Technical Activities Society and Council, IEEE Data Descriptions is a unique peer-reviewed journal that publishes short articles on all aspects of data, including data descriptors, data collections, and metadata. Its overarching purpose is to promote publicly available datasets while providing insights into data collection methods and quality, creating a foundation for future data science tools such as auto-discovery and mashups.

To support our community through these updates, the Solid-State Circuits Society has launched the new SSCS Fellow Search Committee (FSC). Composed entirely of distinguished IEEE Fellows, the FSC was formed to provide strategic, pre-submission support and ensure our society's nominations align perfectly with the updated evaluation benchmarks.

Established in 2019, this award honors early- and mid-career SSCS members who are making significant, high-impact contributions to solid-state circuits education through creative and non-traditional approaches.

What We Look For:
• Open-source software, lectures, or textbooks
• Interactive teaching methods or engaging digital content
• Innovative lab developments and hands-on learning platforms
• STEM outreach programs engaging high school students and educators

Award Details:
• Recognition: Plaque and $5,000 honorarium (can be split among co-recipients)
