It provides a snapshot of the US’ current ethnic demographic that influences things like: congressional representation, the amount of funding allocated to communities across the country, and adjust any electoral representation based on who’s in the country today.
It happens once every 10 years and only takes 5 minutes! Login and fill out a brief questionnaire that doesn’t ask any questions on your immigration status.

: How does this semester’s P/NC option work? Up until May 22 (one week after final grades are submitted), students are able to request a grade change from a letter-grade to P/NC. To request a P/NC grade for a course, you must fill out an online application form that will be available up until the deadline.
