A new Congressional Electric Grid Policy Fellowship has been announced - the IEEE-USA Congressional Electric Grid Policy Fellowship seeks to augment the capabilities of congressional staff by selecting and placing qualified Fellows with relevant technical expertise in offices or on committees actively working on grid policy. This scholarship recognizes exceptional young professionals entering the power and energy industry. The scholarship recipient will be given a US$2,500 scholarship to assist with school expenses, a plaque, and a travel stipend of up to US$750 to attend the presentation ceremony.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
-Full time student attending a U.S. university or college that offers courses in power engineering.
-Individuals must be in their final two years of receiving their Bachelor’s degree or working towards achieving their Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Thank you to all who submitted an application for the 2025/26 IEEE PES Scholarship Plus! The review committee is currently evaluating the applications. The 2025/26 class of PES Scholars will be announced by the end of the summer. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified via email.
