Rutgers Chinese Dance Troupe Hello, we are RCDT! We are always welcoming new members! We meet:

Fridays 5 - 8 PM, Livi Gym MPR A
Sundays 2:30 - 5:30 PM, College Ave Dance Studio

Rutgers Chinese Dance Troupe started in the Fall of 2000 and has since performed a variety of Chinese dances. Dances include Red Ribbon Dance, Fan Dance, Lion Dance, Kung Fu Fan Dance, Water Sleeves Dance, Handkerchief Dance, Chinese Mongolian Dance, Dai (Peacock) Dance, etc. Join us in a friendly non-competitive environment as we seek to have fun while exploring the beauty of traditional China. 📣RCDT Showcase 2019: Butterfly Lovers📣 IS TOMORROW!! 🤯

Of course saving the best reveal for last! As y'all probably know (or don't know idk were y'all just not paying attention? 😤), our showcase is actually based on a love story from Chinese legend. Our two leads, played by two of our new members Ma Keer and Yihan Wang, along with the rest of RCDT have worked really hard to retell this story (with some added stuff to keep it spicy 😉) for y'all, so come see our hard work at our Showcase TOMORROW!!!

Today, we're revealing 1/2 (reveal so nice you'll see it twice 😉) of TRADITIONAL FLAVOR: our ☂️UMBRELLA☂️ DANCE!
Choreographed by our Co-VPs Joy Lu and Kiana Lee, this dance has been something they've been working on for a while and we can't wait to reveal it at Showcase!

Our big reveal for tonight is MOONLIGHT, the ROUND FAN dance choreographed by our very own President Sihan Chen! For those of y'all real ones who went to TASA Nightmarket this year, y'all probably already saw what they can do! 😍 These lovely ladies will be aROUND the day of Showcase so come check them out!
