There’s a big difference between having a place to work out and having a plan to get better.

At Level Up, we’re not just giving athletes access to weights and equipment.

We’re figuring out what that athlete needs.

What sport do they play?
What season are they in?
What’s their training experience?
Where are they strong?
Where do they need to improve?

Then we build their training around those answers — and coach them through the process.

Because a 12-year-old wrestler shouldn’t train exactly like a 17-year-old baseball player. And an athlete in the middle of their season shouldn’t necessarily train the same way they did all summer.

That’s the difference.

Individualized programming. Professional coaching. Long-term development.

Not just workouts.

A plan for becoming a better athlete.

One of the biggest mistakes I see athletes make is treating strength training like an offseason activity.

They spend months getting stronger and more explosive, the season starts… and the weight room disappears completely.

I get why. Practices increase. Games or matches start. School gets busy. The athlete is already tired.

But the answer usually isn’t to stop training. It’s to change how you train.

In-season, we don’t need the same volume we used in the offseason. We can reduce the workload, manage fatigue around competition, and focus on keeping the strength and power the athlete already worked to develop.

Sometimes 1–2 short, well-planned lifts per week is all we need.

The offseason is for building. The season is for performing — and maintaining the physical qualities you built helps you do that.

If your athlete’s season has started and you’re not sure how strength training should fit into their schedule, DM me “TRIAL.”

The season starting is not a reason to stop training.

If you stop training qualities like strength, speed, and power, they begin to fade. And as the season gets harder, staying physically prepared can help athletes keep confidence high, continue developing, and better handle the demands of practices and competition.

The goal of in-season training isn’t to crush athletes with more work.

It’s to give them the right amount of work to keep the qualities they built, stay resilient, and keep progressing.

Build it in the offseason. Keep it in-season.

If you want your athlete training with a structured, individualized plan this season, DM “TRIAL” to get started at Level Up Strength & Performance.
