Field Trip Fun at Piru Elementary!

Our students had a wonderful week of learning beyond the classroom! Mrs. Herrera and Mrs. Gomez’s classes had a great time visiting the fire department, where they learned more about our local firefighters and the important work they do to keep our community safe.

Our Kindergarten students also enjoyed an exciting visit to Prancer’s Farm, where they participated in a fun, hands-on learning experience. 🐐🌱

We are grateful for these special opportunities that allow our little Condors to explore, learn, and make lasting memories!

🎉 A proud moment for Piru Elementary!

Piru Elementary celebrated being recognized by Solution Tree as a Promising Practices School with a special flag ceremony, where we proudly raised our new Promising Practices School flag!

This recognition is awarded to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process and provide evidence of improved student learning.

This achievement reflects the dedication, collaboration, and hard work of our entire Piru Team—staff, students, and families.

We are incredibly proud to see our new flag flying high and representing the great work happening at Piru! 💙

Our Condors cooling off! 💙

After a long week of warm weather, our Condors who celebrated a full week of attendance enjoyed a refreshing Otter Pop! Instead of their regular Principal’s Recess, students got a special cool treat to celebrate showing up and being ready to learn each day. 🍧

Attendance matters—every day counts! We’re proud of our Condors for showing up!
